The Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS) recently announced the maximum 2025 commissions for Medicare Advantage and Medicare Part D plans. Medicare agents will continue to see compensation grow in 2025, with rates growing almost 2% nationally.
Initial commissions for Medicare Advantage in California have risen from $762/member/year to $780/member/year, reflecting a 7.4% increase. Renewal commissions have increased from $381/member/year to $390/member/year, an increase of 2.4%. Nationally, initial commissions grew from $611/member/year to $626/member/year, representing an 2.5% increase. National renewal commissions rose from $306/member/year to $313/member/year, marking an 2.3% increase.
