Announcing 2023 Medicare Advantage & Part D Commissions

The Centers for Medicare & Medicaid (CMS) recently announced the maximum 2023 commissions on Medicare Advantage and Medicare Part D plans. Medicare agents will continue to see compensation growth for 2023, with rates more than four percent above those of 2022 across the country.

Initial commissions for Medicare Advantage in California were raised from $715/member/year to $750/member/year, which shows a 4.9% increase. Renewal commissions went from $358/member/year to $375/member/year, a 4.75% increase. Nationally, Medicare Advantage initial commissions grew from $573/member/year to $601/member/year, increasing by 4.89%. The national renewal commissions increased 4.88% from $287/member/year to $301/member/year.
